"GuitarGuru Technique" utilizes the oldest music education method in history - emulating a mentor. "GuitarGuru Technique" is divided into five chapters, each including a melody and an accompaniment. The melody is played with a pick, and the accompaniment with fingerstyle technique. The content is arranged and designed in a way to give you a broad and versatile technique on the instrument, regardless of your musical tastes. Content Each part is written with music notation, tablature and chords. Sheet music is accurately notated with fingering, positioning, pick directions and articulations. Videos can be played back at variable tempo. Backing tracks let you play with a full band. Recorded in a high-end studio with highly experienced musicans. Author Stein Medby has over twenty years experience as a guitar teacher. He has studied at both The Royal College of Music, London and Berklee College of Music, Boston. Among his mentors are Carlos Bonell, Gary Ryan, Sven Lundstad, John Williams, David Rusell, Fabio Zanon og Charles Ramirez.
